Evaluation of MSF-CH’s Programme for Street Children Tegucigalpa, Honduras

MSF-CH’s project for street children in Tegucigalpa started in 2005 and has been gradually adapted and revised to focus on the actual target population: children and youth sleeping permanently or temporarily in the streets who are more at risk to suffer from violence. Nutrition interventions in Marial Lou, South Sudan compared with the Niger nutrition outcomes

The evaluation unit in Vienna (MSF-Austria) was requested to analyse the different nutritional strategies implemented in Marial Lou over the past years (2003 – 2006) in terms of appropriateness, effectiveness and efficiency, and, to identify recommendations for future similar contexts. After presenting the first results, the evaluator was requested to extend the analysis of outcome data to those of the Niger nutrition program 2005 and 2006, for better comparison of results.

Audit de l'hôpital de Bongor: gouvernance, ressources humaines, finances

French report. Le projet initial de MSF à Bongor était d'assurer la fonctionnalité correcte d'un centre de formation de Bongor pour la formation des médecins généralistes en chirurgie de base. Une des difficultés quant au déroulement harmonieux du projet était d'éviter d'avoir un service de chirurgie de haute qualité au sein de l'hôpital avec à côté des services de médecine et de pédiatrie connaissant de grandes difficultés et une mauvaise prise en charge des malades.

Evaluation Ex Post: Antiretroviral treatment for people living with HIV in Honduras and Guatemala - MSF-CH 2001-2005

MSF had been working in Honduras and Guatemala in HIV prevention and care of people living with HIV and AIDS for several years before ART projects were started in 2001. In 2005 the projects were handed over to the National AIDS Programme, though MSF-CH kept some staff in both countries to monitor progress. This evaluation was planned a year and a half after handing over the project, to document the perception of people regarding lessons learnt; whether the project was handed over properly; and the quality of care for people living HIV.
