Some evaluation reports are public and can be downloaded from this website, while others are restricted to MSF users and can only be accessed via Tukul. This limitation is mainly due to the sensitive nature of the operational contexts and the resulting content. However, there are internal discussions about making all evaluation reports publicly searchable. If you are an MSF association member, reports are made available on various associate platforms such as www.insideOCB.com.

This document describes the project Lessons identified at the end of the market entry planning phase for MSF in Finland. It summarises the successes and challenges encountered during the project, lists the learning themes arising from these successes and challenges, and includes a set of lessons derived from an analysis of these learning points. The Annex contains a proposed (brief) framework with criteria and pre-requisites for a successful Market Entry Plan in MSF based on this experience. NOTE: This is not an evaluation and therefore there is no ambition for independent judgement.

This Retrospect was facilitated by the Stockholm Evaluation Unit on behalf of the Project Team. The report has been prepared by Timothy McCann.

Family and Sexual Violence in PNG is pervasive and widespread, centered within the family and the extended family (wantok), and manifests itself as physical or emotional abuse, sexual abuse, and social isolation. There is also a stigma attached to young survivors making it difficult to report. The endemic nature and high rates of violence within the family impact women and children the most in PNG.

This publication was produced at the request and under the management of MSF OCA, with support from the Stockholm Evaluation Unit. It was prepared independently by Tania Bernath.

The evaluation describes an evolving approach to address the needs of traumatised internally displaced Indonesians. The evaluation focuses on how MSF responded to new insights documented in lessons learned and trip reports. The purpose of this is to inform a discussion of how to proceed with mental health in Indonesia, which will be formalised in the country policy.

The purpose of this evaluation was to assess the choices in and the approach of the current primary health care (PHC) projects implemented by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Peru within the framework of the changing socio-political situation in Peru. This evaluation served to document lessons learned which may feed into future decisions on the direction for policy and planning of MSF in Peru.
